Bugaboo Lynx VS Uppababy Vista V2: In-Depth Comparison

Bugaboo VS Uppababy. Uppababy raised the bar in 2020 with the introduction of their updated version of their Vista, the Vista V2. With Bugaboo coming out with the Bugaboo Lynx being reintroduced back into the market we are so excited to compare the two. Both top strollers from trusted brands it's hard to choose. The Bugaboo Lynx was designed to be a full size stroller with a light weight footprint. It is a single stroller which turns into a seamless travel system with the Bugaboo Turtle. The Uppababy Vista V2 is an updated version of the much beloved Vista, the V2 is a convertible stroller that can hold up to three children of various ages. Both have their drawing points and both are amazing strollers.
Dimensions & Weight
The Vista V2 is almost double the weight at 26.6 lb. The Bugaboo Lynx weighs 20.1 lbs. The Lynx is meant to be a full size stroller with a lightweight footprint. The Lynx is a full size single seat stroller. The Lynx has a seat capacity of 50 lbs and the seat keeps the capacity if used separately without the stroller. The Vista V2 can hold up to 50lb and the basket capacity is 30 lbs. The Vista has the bassinet included and can hold up to 20 lbs, or until the infant can push up on hands and knees, whichever comes first. There are two options when it comes to purchasing the Vista V2, parents can purchase it to include a bassinet or a tandem seat, one or the other. The Vista can be a double stroller so of course it’s a tad bigger at 37 L x 25.5 W x 39.5
H while the Lynx is 23.6″ W x 20.5″ L.
Handlebar
Both handlebars are adjustable.
Canopies
Both have an SPF 50 canopy with a peekaboo window. They are both adjustable and extendable.
Seats
Bugaboo Lynx is a single stroller with many features. It’s no retread shoulder straps and a five point harness make it easy to grow with your family. The coolest thing about the Bugaboo Lynx is it’s pairing with the Bugaboo Turtle. The Lynx does not need adapters to pair with the Turtle. Vista V2 has a plethora of is seat options. The Vista V2 allows for use of a bassinet,toddler seats and rumple seats. The Vista V2 can carry up to three children when the Piggyback is in used. The Vista V2 now has a non rethread harness and the five point harness will keep your little one safe.While the Vista V2 has a one handed 6 position recline the Lynx has a two hand recline. Vista V2 has an adjustable footrest. The Lynx has a very generous foot well.
Wheels & Suspension
The
Vista V2 wheels are large with all-wheel suspension which means a smooth ride over any terrain. The
Lynx wheels measure 7”/ 11.4”. The
Lynx has lockable swivel front wheels as well as front wheel suspension.
Fold
The Vista folds up in a 1 step compact at 14 L x 25.5 W x 33 H while the Lynx folds up 23.62 x 23.62 x 34.65. The Vista has an easy one step fold and the Lynx has one piece compact fold with the choice of a two piece fold to be ultra compact.
Under seat baskets
The Vista V2 basket can hold up to 30 lbs and the Lynx can hold up to 22 lb. The Lynx also has a little flap that protects all your baby gear. They both can hold many of your baby gear.
Bassinet
The Lynx does not come with the bassinet but it is available to purchase separately for $250. The Vista V2 comes with the option of purchasing the Vista with a bassinet or the tandem seat, it’s either one or the other.
Car Seat Compatible
While both strollers are car seat compatible, the Bugaboo Lynx doesn't need adapters when paired with the Bugaboo Turtle, no adapters needed.
Price
The
Vista V2 starts at $959 plus while the
Lynx starts at $899. The Vista V2 is perfect for large or growing families while the Lynx is the perfect option for a smaller family who wants a stroller with a lightweight footprint.
