How do you compare the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 vs Thule Spring?
With the release of the new
Thule Spring stroller, you'll notice that it does look very similar to the
Baby Jogger City Mini GT2. Both stroller have similar features with their lightweight feel and strong wheels. Both seats are beyond comfortable for your little one and is sure to be your favorite lightweight stroller!
SPECS

City Mini GT2 is 41″ L x 25.7″ W x 42.8″ H. It is 21 lbs and can also be used from Birth to 50 lbs. The
Thule Spring Strollers clock in at 38.6 x 35.2 x 23.4 inches , weight 22 lbs and has capacity of 64 pounds.
FOLDED
Both folds are incredibly easy and lightweight. The
City Mini GT2 is small as well, perfect for fitting in your trunk and taking it on the go! The GT2 has a one handed easy folds and there is an auto lock and lift strap to make life a little easier. The Thule has a small compact fold which is easy to carry and bring with you wherever you travel.
SEAT
The
Thule Spring and the
City Mini GT2 both have a near flat recline. The Thule Spring has an adjustable canopy with integrated extension shields and provides UPF 50+ UV protection. The Thule vented canopy has a see-through mesh for a peekaboo feature. The GT2 canopy is a full coverage UV50 canopy with peek-a-boo windows protecting your little one from the harmful sun rays without blocking your view of your little one. They both have an adjustable calf support insuring your child is comfortable in their seat. These strollers are car seat compatible and can easily transform into a travel system. They both also have a 5-point stroller harness to keep your child safely secured. The GT2 is bigger and can accommodate a taller child as it is 14″ wide and 26″ high from the back of the seat to the top of the canopy, allowing plenty of room for your child. The seat itself is very deep with 10″ from the back of the seat to the where the knees bend.
WHEELS
The City Mini GT2’s tires are filled with foam and have all wheel suspension, making for easier movement over rough terrain. The
Thule Spring has No-puncture, foam-filled 8.5 in. tires which has swiveling front wheel with suspension can be locked into a fixed position ensuring a smooth ride for baby.
BRAKES
The
GT2 has a hand break while the
Thule Spring strollers have a regular foot break.
