Silver Cross 2020 stroller, many are wondering what the difference is between the 2019 Jet vs 2020 Jet strollers! We'll help you out with that!
Silver Cross Jet 2019 vs Jet 2020 Upgrades:
You’ll find more comfortable cushions, deeper seat. The
2020 Jet is also much sturdier which is a really great upgrade. You’ll notice a lot of cosmetic upgrades too and new fashions as well, like Mist. Specs:
The NEW Silver Cross jet is sporting a new weight capacity of 55 Lbs. The new weight capacity is a big difference since the previous 40lbs weight capacity. That combined with the fact that the seat is bigger means that the Silver Cross Jet can accommodate a bigger or older child. The 2020 version has a higher seat back, deeper depth and foot rest. The actual stroller frame is thicker and stronger.
Handlebar
The handlebar for the
2020 Jet is taller than the 2019 Jet but they are both not adjustable.
Canopy:
The canopy has been slightly changed, namely the sun visor and the canopy itself has the new premium fabric. It still has the amazing UV 50+ protection and a convenient peekaboo window. The main differences between canopies is that the 2019 Jet has a velcro peekaboo window has a magnetic peekaboo window.
Seat:
The seats are amazing! It still has a comfortable recline but now the seats have been updated to be larger, with higher height and wider seat. Silver Cross wanted parents to be able to get the maximum use of their stroller which is why not only they increased the weight capacity, they also made it newborn compatible.
Wheels:
Wheels have been updated to increase stability. The wheels have been extended both forward and further back. Furthermore they improved suspension in the 2020 Jet and it is a much smoother ride.
Adjustable Footrest & Storage:
Another big change parents are going to find is a deeper adjustable footrest which not only makes it more comfortable for your child, it also allows easier access to the underseat storage basket. Both the 2019 & 2020 Jet have small storage baskets.
One Hand Fold:
The fold for the new Jet is out of this world! It is so easy to use and you only need one hand!
Overhead Cabin Approved:
Both of these amazing stroller are extremely easy to travel with and parents can bring their stroller on their plane and can be on the overhead cabin.
