Cik explained that the Lullaby Earth mattress is composed primarily of polyethylene foam, which won’t burst into a ball of fire the way untreated polyurethane foam does. He compared the polyethylene to wax on a candle, inhibiting the flame rather than spreading it. With a sharp retail of $149, the Lullaby Earth weighs in at only seven pounds, and is also Greenguard-certified, features firm surfaces, seamless edges, waterproof edges, edge support and square corners. This lightweight, affordable and healthy mattress has all benefits wrapped in one. One of its other beneficial features is that it is also fully recyclable when it is already used up, in about a decade or so. I’ve never seen a place where we can recycle mattresses, but I guess Naturepedic will start the trend!
