Most Popular Lightweight Strollers for 2021

Posted in cybex beezy, joolz aer, lightweight strollers, uppababy minu

Are you looking for a new lightweight stroller to take with you on all your summer adventures? Well, you don’t have to spend your time searching. We’ve rounded up our most popular lightweight strollers that are available for 2021, to make your baby gear shopping experience easy. These strollers offer the convenience of a lightweight stroller, plus some great practical features!

Joolz Aer

Weighing in at 13.4 pounds, the Joolz Aer stroller is the most lightweight of them all! We love the look of this lightweight stroller - it’s so cute and chic, with a sleek leatherette handlebar for that final touch. This stroller features an extra tall seat, so that it can fit your child for longer.

Another plus is that the seat is actually also extra wide, spacious enough to keep your child super comfortable even during the toddler stage. The canopy is actually pretty cool - part of it is a breathable mesh that you can see through, and keep an eye on your baby!

Check out the pocket on the back of this stroller - it’s perfect for storing a phone, some spare diapers for your baby, or even your keys. The fabric on this stroller is washable, so it’s easy to care for, and the front wheels can be switched between swivel and fixed. The Joolz Aer travel stroller is super lightweight, easy to fold and it can even fit in the overhead of most airplanes!

UppaBaby Minu

The UppaBaby Minu is an exclusive, compact stroller that is great for travel. It’s the second to lightest stroller of the bunch, at just 14.5 pounds! All-wheel suspension, a cool metallic-colored extendable UV 50+ sun canopy, and a massive storage basket at the bottom are just some of the awesome features on this UppaBaby stroller!

We love that this stroller can stand while folded - this makes it easier to store! Aside from the large basket underneath the stroller that can hold up to 20 pounds, there’s also a slim pocket in the back that’s easily reachable while you’re pushing the stroller.

You’ll want to keep in mind that this stroller can only be used starting from when your baby is old enough to sit on their own - unless you get the add-on bassinet! This bassinet is really cool - it can even fold with the stroller. Or, you can pair the Minu with the Mesa car seat for an awesome travel system!

Cybex Beezy

The Cybex Beezy is a really lightweight stroller that weighs 18.1 pounds. It’s a sturdy stroller, with four wheel suspension, and boasts strong, tough wheels. The Cybex Beezy has a nice, easy push, a smooth ride, and a one-handed, one-step, self-standing fold. Since it folds so fast, it's a great choice if you're constantly in and out of the car.

The Beezy goes over curbs really nicely. It’s not flimsy at all – it’s a bit stronger than the Joolz Aer, although some prefer the look of the Joolz over this stroller.

This stroller comes with a UV 50+ sun canopy, adjustable leg support, and a multi-position near flat recline. This is a great lightweight stroller that you can take along on all your family adventures!

Bugaboo Ant Stroller

This is the perfect Bugaboo lightweight stroller, weighing just 15.8 pounds! This is one of the only lightweight strollers out there that comes with a reversible seat, so that your baby can face either you or the world.

With a three-position recline and an adjustable backrest to keep your baby comfortable, and a two-position adjustable handlebar that you can raise or lift depending on your needs, if you’re looking for a Bugaboo travel stroller, the Ant is the way to go!

The Bugaboo Ant is an ultra compact stroller, and folds up really small. All-wheel suspension makes this a strong stroller, suitable for use over bumpy or uneven terrains. All this is why the Bugaboo Ant is an awesome travel stroller to take with you on all your adventures!

The only thing we found a bit unsettling about this stroller is that it has a seven-step fold, and that seems kind of complicated to us. Also, folding this stroller requires two hands. But aside from that, this is a great stroller to have!

Babyzen Yoyo Stroller

The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is another great lightweight stroller, and this one’s super light - it weighs just 13.6 pounds! This is very possibly the most popular lightweight stroller from them all - it’s one of those wildly well-known baby gear products customers are always asking us for. This stroller can be used from newborn with the newborn kit.

The Babyzen Yoyo features a simple fold, and it has a really nice recline that works with a strap. Without the newborn kit, the stroller can be used for ages 6 months and up. The leatherette handlebar adds a sleek touch to this stroller, and makes it even more comfortable to push.

There’s a small peek-a-boo window on the canopy so that you can check on your baby while he sleeps. The large basket underneath is easy to access. This stroller is extremely easy to maneuver, with a super easy push, and is small and compact, just how you want your lightweight stroller to be!

Q: Is the Cybex Beezy washable?

Fabrics on the Cybex Beezy can be washed on a cold, delicate cycle with mild detergent. Hang to dry. The frame can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

Q: How do I clean my Joolz Aer?

The Joolz Aer is hand washable only. Detach the fabric from the seat or cot with the zipper. Use lukewarm water and soap to clean it (NOT bleach or chemical detergents). Rinse with fresh water, then leave to dry.

Q: Is the UppaBABY Minu washable?

The UppaBABY Minu is hand washable only. It can be spot cleaned or hand washed in cold water with mild detergent. Don’t wring or twist the fabric, and don’t bleach or use fabric softeners, iron, steam or dry clean. Dry flat, away from direct sunlight.

Q: When can a baby start using a stroller?

Once your baby is able to support their head on their own (usually 3-6 months), they can go in a regular lightweight stroller, as long as it features a good recline.

Q: Can the Bugaboo Ant be used with the Nuna Pipa?

All Nuna Pipas are compatible with the Bugaboo Ant stroller. Pipa Lite, Lite R and Lite LX attach to the Bugaboo Ant most easily.
