! We can't wait for the new Bugaboo Bee6 to hit stores as it's been updated to be better and easier to use than ever! The Bee5
changed the game with it's compact footprint and full size feature we are so excited to see what the Bee6 has in store for the world! With the Bugaboo Bee5 being a fan favorite for so long we are excited to see how it compare with it's new updated model?
The Bugaboo Bee5
has a weight of 19.6 lbs with a weight capacity of 37.5 lbs. The Bugaboo Bee5
is capable of holding up to two kids with the use of a toddler board. The new Bugaboo Bee6
weighs in at 20.7 lbs and has an upgraded weight capacity of 50 Lbs so it can be used longer! Both are newborn compatible with the use of a bassinet or a car seat.
Bee6 VS Bee5 Canopy
The canopy between the Bee5
& the Bee6
has changed quiet a bit. The Bee5 has a 3 panel extendable canopy made out jersey like material fabric. The Bee6 updated the canopy to be made out of durable canvas fabric and now features an extra breezy panel & a peekaboo window to add more airflow and visibility of your child. They both have UPV 50+ protection to protect your child from the harmful sun rays.
Bee6 VS Bee5 Seat
We are seeing some major differences when it comes to the Bugaboo Bee6
seats and the Bugaboo Bee5
. Bugaboo has upgraded the fabrics to be high performance with a breathable mesh material supported by ventilation holes in the back of the seats to ensure your child's comfortability. For peace of mind Bugaboo has also added a new a rotating bumper bar so parents can rest easy knowing there is an extra layer of security for their child. The Bugaboo Bee5 has a very roomy seat with the seat being 14″ wide and with 18″ seat back that can adjust to 21″, to accommodate taller children. The seat depth is adjustable and can go from 11″ deep up to 15″ deep. We are glad to hear that both seats will feature a five point harness, several recline positions and are both still reversible so they can both be made parent facing or world facing.
Bee6 VS Bee5 Bassinet
The optional Bassinet for the Bee6
has been improved with a breezy window and higher adapters, raising it around 1.5″. The bassinet is also easier to remove from the base. The Bee5
has a bassinet that weighs 7.61 lbs and includes a Bassinet base, Bassinet wall, Bassinet apron, Mattress pad, mattress cover and 2 adapters. The bassinet retails for $230. Good news for parents, the Bugaboo Bee6 bassinet is compatible with the Bee5 stroller!
Compatibility between the Bee6 & Bee5
As far as interchanging hardware between these two strollers parents will be happy to hear that the Bee6 bassinet. as stated above and the canopy is compatible with the Bee5. The base, fabric, wheel caps and the rotating belly bar are unique to the Bee6 however and can't be interchanged with the Bee5.

The Bugaboo Bee6
features bigger wheels at 7" with new PU tires. The Bee5
tires are 1" smaller at 6″ and made out of made out of hard rubber. The front wheels swivel and lock. they both have independent 4 wheel suspension and lockable front swivel wheels.
Bee6 VS Bee5 Fold
Another major difference between these two strollers can be see in the fold. The Bee5
has a compact easy fold at 35″L x 18″W x 12″H. The new Bee6
fold however features self-stand accessory built onto the stroller so storage is even simpler.
Car Seat Compatibility
While the Bugaboo Bee6
are both car seat compatible the Bee6 now includes the Bugaboo Bee Maxi Cosi/Turtle One car seat adapter in the box!
Bee6 VS Bee5 Colors
has seats that come in black, blue melange, green melange, grey melange and botanic. The handle grips come in black,cognac and dark brown. The wheel caps come in white, dark red, glossy black and wood. There are 13 different colors parents can choose for the canopy ; Black, Olive Green, Ruby Red, Sky Blue, Soft Pink, Sunrise Yellow, Grey Melange, Red Melange, Blue Melange, Botanic Canopy, Fresh White and Waves. The Bee6 i
s only available in 4 colors and only as one-box solutions. The colors available for the Bee6 are ALU/GREY-GREY MELANGE, ALU/GREY-SOFT PINK, LACK/BLACK-LEMON YELLOW, and BLACK/BLACK-BLACK.

retails at $699 for the aluminum base and $799 for the all black base. The Bugaboo Bee5
starts at $739 and increases depending on what parents customize it with.
