Why we love the new Bugaboo Lynx Stroller

The lightest full-size stroller Parenting is hard enough, but pushing a stroller shouldn’t be. Introducing our lightest full-size stroller, the Bugaboo Lynx— designed to help you effortlessly navigate life on-the-go. Super light and amazingly strong At 20.7 lbs, the nimble, lightweight design of the Bugaboo Lynx is designed for everyday adventures. Despite its super lightweight composition, the Bugaboo Lynx can accommodate your growing child up to 50lbs and has a large underseat basket that holds up to 22 lbs so you can keep all your essentials, toys or groceries easily at hand. bugaboo-lynx-slimEasy maneuverability for a smoother stroll From coffee shops to dressing rooms, tight spaces can be challenging to navigate with any stroller. Luckily, the compact, streamlined design of the Bugaboo Lynx has a responsive, one-handed push which lets you easily maneuver when you have your hands full. Not only is it easier to drive for you, but the smooth suspension and large wheels mean a smoother ride for your child—whatever the terrain, and however fully-loaded your stroller is! The wheels on the Lynx measure 7" front / 11.5" rear wheels. bugaboo-lynx-peekComfort without compromise At Bugaboo, we believe that style and function go hand-in-hand. From offering the most comfortable ride for your baby, to a large under seat basket and everything in between, we’ve got your covered. Thoughtful design touches throughout the Bugaboo Lynx are sure to appease even the most critical parent. Reversible seat allows the baby to face you or face the world. The 3-position recline allows baby to sit up for a snack or lay flat for a snooze. The extra-large sun canopy protects baby’s delicate skin and fully extends to create a cozy nook for sleeping. The new addition of a peek-a-boo window onto the canopy lets you keep an eye on your little or create air flow during hot summer months. All our fabrics are UPF 50+ to protect your child, and machine washable! Another design feature on the Bugaboo Lynx is the 5 point harness. Secure your baby in seconds with a one snap close for a secure fit or one-click open when it’s time to explore. As your child grows, move the straps up or down for an exact fit, no re-threading is ever required. bugaboo-lynx-foldThe Bugaboo Lynx is also compatible with the Bugaboo Turtle by Nuna infant car seat without the need for additional adapters. This makes the ultimate travel system. Compact storage Enjoy the benefits of a compact, one-piece self-standing fold in any configuration. You also have the option for an even more compact two-piece fold for storage at home or in the trunk of the car. The folding process is fairly simple - you lift the two side triggers and the stroller folds down into one piece. The stroller unfolds the same way.

How does the Bugaboo Lynx compare to the Bugaboo Cameleon3?

The Bugaboo Lynx is a take-off of the Cameleon3. The new Lynx has some great upgrades, like larger wheels, heavier weight capacity, a one-piece fold (instead of 2 pieces), and a much larger underesat basket. The new Lynx stroller does not include the bassinet with purchase - rather it is available separately. The lower price of the Lynx reflects that. How does the Bugaboo Lynx compare to the Bugaboo Fox?

The Bugaboo Lynx is really similar to the Fox. The Lynx does have a smaller footprint and weigh a bit less. The biggest difference is that the Lynx does not include the bassinet, although you can purchase one separately. The Lynx's seat takes 2 hands to recline, while the Fox's seat needs just one hand to recline. See the full comparison of the Lynx vs the Fox here >

How does the Bugaboo Lynx compare to the Bugaboo Bee5?

With the addition of the Bugaboo Lynx, many wonder how it compares to the Bee5 and why chose one over the other? The Bugaboo Bee5 was designed to be a compact stroller that takes families through tight spaces. The Bugaboo Lynx was designed to be a full-size stroller. While both have so many awesome features, you'll notice some real differences between them. The seat on the Bugaboo Bee5 is designed to grow with your child, although it can only hold up to 37.5 lbs. The seat of the Lynx is a bit more rigid in terms of height and depth, but it can hold up to 50 lbs. The Bee5 reclines with just one hand, while the Lynx will need two - you'll notice that the Bee5 seat reclines almost truly flat because just the seat back tilts backwards, while the entire seat of the Lynx tilts back. The Lynx features larger wheels so that makes for a smoother ride over rough terrain, and the underseat basket is much larger as well. See the full comparison of the Lynx vs the Bee5 here >
