Now that the Lynx is finally here, you're probably wondering how it compares to the Bugaboo Bee5. Let's help you out with that!
The Bugaboo Bee is quite different than the NEW Bugaboo Lynx. The Lynx is Bugaboo's version of a full size stroller with a smaller foot print. The Bugaboo Bee5 is a much more compact stroller, designed for easy storage and getting through those tight spaces. Both strollers weigh around the same with the Bee just a few ounces lighter.
The Lynx has a weight capacity of 50 lbs while the Bee5 can only hold 37.5 lbs. The Lynx has front wheel suspension and a wheel size of 8/12' and the Bee has smaller wheels but independent four wheel suspension. Both have compact easy folds and large basket sizes. The Lynx's basket is more spacious and easy to access.
The seats are very different. The Bugaboo Bee5's seat is height adjustable and "depth" adustable. While there is a lower weight capacity, you'll find that a taller child can easily fit into the seat. The Lynx has more of a fixed-height seat with a footwell, so your child will max out sooner than later. The Bee5's seat truly reclines almost flat with just one hand. You'll need two hands to recline the Bugaboo Lynx and the entire seat will tilt back.
At the end of the day both strollers are amazing and have unique selling points. The Bee is small and compact because it is a lightweight stroller but if you have your heart set on a full size stroller that is still compact and lightweight the LYNX is the perfect option for you.
