Install
The KNOX is the first convertible seat to feature UPPAbaby's SMARTSecure system. The SMARTSecure system has an indicator window that turns from red to green when the seat is correctly installed so parents know for sure if they installed their car seat correctly! Without proper installation, your car seat is not safe at all so we are loving the increased attention to proper installation.

The Uppababy Knox is really stepping up the car seat safety game! It features a Multi-Directional Tether that reduces potential injury by 45% when used in rear-facing mode. The KNOX is introducing many firsts when it comes to car seat safety including the first child restraint to feature Koroyd technology which integrated into the base and designed to absorb the maximum amount of energy from an impact to keep your little one safe. To top it all off it features Energy Response Technology delivers side impact protection from top to bottom with an eight-position Active Support Headrest, Side Impact Pods, and an Impact Dispersion Zone of EPP foam throughout the seat.
