The Nuna TRVL and UppaBaby Minu are both amazing lightweight strollers with luxurious features, perfect for errands, trips to the park, and walks around the neighborhood.
These two strollers are simple to use, and take up little storage space. They are dependable, light and easy, and will keep baby comfortable for the ride!
These two strollers are actually pretty similar in a lot of different ways. The Nuna TRVL officially weighs under 14 pounds (not including the canopy), and the UppaBaby Minu weighs just under 15 pounds. The Nuna TRVL is about $50 more. But keep in mind that the adapter for the Minu is $49.99, so if you’re going to be using the stroller with a car seat, the difference in price isn’t really anything to speak of...
With a car seat, both of these strollers can be used from the very beginning. You can start using the Minu without a car seat as soon as your baby turns 3 months, and the Nuna TRVL as soon as your baby is 6 months old.
UPPAbaby Minu
The UppaBaby Minu can be used with the From Birth Kit, which is a lay flat seat for newborns that attaches to the stroller. It's really just fabric - it doesn’t have a real shape to it, so you wouldn’t be able to use it off the stroller...
Nuna TRVL
One thing we love about the TRVL is that it has this really cool ventilation panel in the back of the stroller, with a cover that you can unzip and roll up, to let your baby enjoy the breeze. Other features unique to the TRVL include a no-rethread harness, a Magnetech Secure Snap buckle for easy open & close, and an armbar that doubles as a carry bar when folded.
The Nuna TRVL features the coolest fold we’ve ever seen! When you slide the button on the handlebar, the stroller automatically collapses to a folded standing position! It's the easiest fold you can dream of.
