The PIPA Urbn is a car seat like you’ve never seen before! This infant car seat doesn’t come with a base, and doesn’t need one.

It comes with all the classic Pipa features, plus the pipaFIX rigid latch on the infant car seat. Instead of the rigid latch being in the base, it’s in the car seat itself. How cool is that??

The Pipa Urbn offers classic Pipa features including the Sky drape, and an extra-large mesh peekaboo window, and a leatherette handlebar. The magnetic buckle holders on the side are easy to work with and the machine washable seat and insert fabrics are simple to clean. This car seat is compatible with all Nuna strollers.
Safety
Resilient and secure, the Pipa Urbn comes with a ton of safety features. It is fire-retardant free, and has steel reinforced pipaFIX rigid latch in the car seat, plus super reinforced side impact protection. The car seat is designed to be extremely strong. Like all nuna car seats, the Pipa Urbn is flame resistant and free of flame retardants. It’s also GreenGuard certified, which means it's scientifically proven to meet some of the world’s most rigorous third-party chemical emission standards, and certified to not contribute to indoor air pollution or chemical exposure.
The Pipa Urbn is not compatible with any Pipa base, neither the Pipa series base nor the Pipa Relx base. The whole point of this car seat is that it doesn’t need a base, since the car seat itself has a very high safety level.
