Just previewed the new HOT HOT stroller by Uppababy. The Uppababy CRUZ stroller. This stroller has kept me smiling all day. Its awesome! The Uppababy Cruz is a mid priced stroller ($400 - $450). Its much smaller than the vista yet has so many features of the ever so popular (and not so cheap!) Vista!
Although the Uppababy Cruz frame is much smaller the seat itself is the same size as the vista! So no compromise on that at all! The back wheels are smaller than the vista and do not jut out as much. Its 6" narrower than the vista.
The Uppababy Cruz has a great adjustable handlebar, a reversible seat and mulitple position recline. The Uppababy Cruz will work with infants up until 50 lbs.
The Cruz will work with a car seat adapter to work with most brand car seats. Front and Rear Suspension for a smooth ride! Easy on and off foot brake Large Storage basket. (Most lightweight strollers for some reason have really small baskets!)
The Cruz will not have any bassinet feature like the vista. Colors are yet to be determined. At the show we saw a red and silver both really really nice but more colors will be available. The Cruz really is great for the budget parent that cant go all the way up to the vista and the to space concerned parent. Its also great for the in and out of the car type parent that wants something much smaller and lighter than the vista! Shipping August of 2011.
