The Maxi Cosi Romi is specifically designed for children from 5-40 pounds: 5-40 pounds while in rear-facing mode, and 22-40 pounds when in a forward-facing position.

This is similar to the Cosco Scenera but much more luxe and the fabric doesn't contain flame retardants. Great travel car seat!
