First of all, this review is for the Tripp Trapp only and does not reflect the excellent customer service from Pish Posh.
As an over researcher, I thought this would be the ideal solution based on all the positive reviews and product history. That being said it’s my biggest regret of all the baby gear we’ve purchased.
1. The straps are cumbersome both to adjust and clip / keep organized on a daily basis. They easily get stuck underneath baby.
2. The tray is difficult to clip on correctly.
3. The tray is honeycomb on the backside making is a nuisance to clean.
4. The grey cushion started out slightly blue, which was pretty but the color washed out after the first wash. We stopped using it anyway because of how often it needed to be washed and difficult it was to take on and off. You actually have to take apart the straps which is incredibly difficult.
5. We’ve be using it for about 6 months and the paint is already chipping and there are noticeable dings in the wood.
For the cost, there must be a product that is easier to clean and use.
