UPPAbaby Ridge Performance Rain Shield

This is long but worth the read. So let me start by saying I’m a runner from rainy Seattle, WA which means every stroller I’ve owned has a rain shield stored in the basket. And I’ve owned A LOT of strollers after 3 kids. There hasn’t been a single rain shield that I would have ever written a good review on UNTIL NOW! I received it almost a week ago and have used it every day since then, rain or no rain. Here are my reasons why I love it:

1) This was by far the easiest and fastest cover I’ve ever put on any stroller. This to me is a big deal because I like to take it off after a rainy run and hang it up to dry or wipe down. I dreaded that whole process with others because it took up so much time.

2) The fabric… is amazing! Others have been all plastic but I really liked the look of cloth on the top and bottom. I was weary at first of the fabric not being repellent enough for this rainy state, but I was very wrong. I watched the rain just bead up and roll off while running in heavy rain. Once I hung up the cover, I did a quick wipe with a hand towel and it was completely dry.

3) Stays warm inside without fogging up! The small ventilation holes keep the cover from fogging up but yet the cover still keeps my toddler perfectly warm. We use it even if it’s not raining out.

4) Now this is my whole reason for purchasing the UPPAbaby Ridge stroller in the first place… THE ZIPPER ON THE RAIN SHIELD!!! Seriously, when I saw that there would be a cover with a zipper to easily access…
