Modes are as follows:
0-6 months
If you want to make use of the Bugaboo Giraffe before baby reaches the six month milestone, be sure to invest in a rocker or newborn set. We especially love the newborn set, because it lets baby join the family table at mealtimes, and it's also awesome for keeping an eye on your little one while you’re cooking up dinner or tidying up after mealtime.
6-36 months
Of course, these newborn-suitable solutions aren't the only modes on the Giraffe. There's also a standard high chair mode, which is basically the chair with a Babyset and tray. You can also use just the Babyset, without the tray, so baby can really feel part of mealtime moments at the table. The footrest on this mode is really nice, although small 6 month babies may not reach it until they grow just a bit bigger.
3+ years
Last mode is the basic chair mode. The Bugaboo Giraffe chair can hold up to 220 pounds, so this is a chair that can definitely outlast your little one's sweet toddler years!
